Frequently Asked Questions about Moodii
-
A check-in is your mood, what influenced it (for example school, sleep, or relationships), and optionally what would help. It updates your user bubble in the main bubbles you target. Only people already in those bubbles can see your latest check-in and history for that bubble, not the public internet, and not people you have not joined with.
-
Each bubble is separate. Partner is for one close relationship; Family is for household and trusted relatives; Friends is for wider mates. Your data in one bubble does not leak into another: someone in Friends never automatically sees what you shared only with Family. You choose where each check-in applies.

The Mood Map is a week grid: one row per person, one cell per day, so you can spot patterns at a glance. Tap a cell to open that day's note. On the free tier you see a short window of recent days; Moodii+ unlocks the full seven-day view for everyone in the bubble who has access.
-
SOS is an emergency-style flag for when someone needs immediate human help. If you see SOS on someone you care about, treat it seriously: contact them or a trusted adult if appropriate, and use Support Hub in the app for crisis lines and services. Moodii does not replace emergency services, if life is in danger, call your local emergency number.
-
Moodii+ is a personal upgrade on your account (not a shared household plan): Neon and Dark themes, deeper insights (full Mood Map week, richer summaries, and Bubble Watch where offered), and higher bubble capacity where applicable. You subscribe through your own Apple or Google store account. Paying subscribers can gift Moodii+ to up to two people in bubbles they own; if you received Moodii+ as a gift, you get full premium features but cannot gift it to others.
-
They are lightweight in-app signals that you have noticed someone's mood and care — not a chat replacement. The other person sees that you sent support; use them alongside real messages or conversations when you can.
-
No. Moodii is for self-awareness and staying connected with people you trust. It does not diagnose conditions or replace counsellors, GPs, or emergency services. AI Bubble Watch and tips are non-clinical nudges only. For mental health crises, use Support Hub and real-world help.
